These are the terms and conditions of service between Lime Finance (“we”, “us”, “our”) and you, the user of www.lime-finance.com  (the “web site”), or the customer of Lime Finance.

We process information about you in accordance with our Privacy Policy.  By using our web site, you consent to such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.

Use of the Web site

You agree to these entire terms and conditions in order to access and use the web site.   We grant you a non exclusive, royalty free licence to access the web site.

You are responsible for any telecommunication charges, or other network charges for the time you spend accessing the web site or for calling us.

Everything on the web site is our intellectual property and you undertake not to copy or disseminate any part thereof except for your own personal records.  You will not create any links to the web site without our prior written permission.

We make every effort to ensure the security and safety of our web site.  However, you agree that we shall not be held responsible for any damage or loss that may be attributable to your use of the web site or your communication with us via email or other means.

It is a criminal offence (Computer Misuse Act 1990) to knowingly introduce viruses / malicious material to our website and servers or to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website or to attack our website in any way.  If you do so we will make every effort to identify you and to prosecute you to the maximum extent of the law.

Litigation Loans & Facilities

Litigation loans and facilities are subject to us approving your application (to include confirming your identity under anti money laundering legislation) and you signing a formal credit agreement.  The credit agreement sets out the terms and conditions of your loan or facility.

We verify your identity and undertake credit searches using the information you and / or your solicitor provide in your application.  Our identity check is made as a legal requirement under Anti Money Laundering legislation.

Lime Finance is Authorised and Regulated by the FCA - 728998.

Complaints Procedure

If you would like to make a complaint, please email us at customerservice@lime-finance.com in the first instance.  We will acknowledge your complaint within 1 business day.  Within 5 business days we will respond fully to your complaint having had access to an officer with the authority to settle the complaint (including, where appropriate, an offer of redress).  (If the complaint is not resolved by close of business on the business day after the complaint is received, we will send you a copy of this complaint handling procedure).   If you are not satisfied with our first response then you can write directly to the Chairman who will review your case and respond within 5 business days.  Complaints about the lending process or loans that we cannot settle within 8 weeks after the first complaint can be referred to the Financial Ombudsman Service.  We will provide details when you are entitled to such a referral or on request.

Governing Law

Any relevant terms and conditions, policies and notices shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England without giving effect to any principles of conflict of law.  You hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in respect of any disputes arising in connection with the web site, or any relevant terms and conditions, policies and notices or any matter relating to or in connection therewith.

If any part of these terms and conditions is found to be illegal or unenforceable, such finding will not affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder of the terms and conditions.

You agree that all documents that we are entitled to send you electronically may be delivered to you at the latest email address you gave us.
